In a recent interview, Sean Waltman reveals that he is unable to perform for TNA because he has contracted the heptitiis C virus, which attacks the liver. Since it is a disease that is transmitted via blood, it's a wise move to keep him away from other performers.

No word yet on when or if Sean Waltman will return to TNA. Management is currently satisfied with Eric Young as his replacement in the Band (with Kevin Nash & Scott Hall).

I feel sorry for him, I hope he gets better soon. What a great in ring talent, he had just got his life together as well.

Man, I hope he does get better. Waltman was actually one of the "old guys" if you wanted to call him that, that can still go.

Well to be honest. It was probably his own fault. Maybe by using a dirty needle... Noooo. X Pac would never dare do drugs. What was I thinking?

I have worked with someone that had Hepatitis C and from what I understand it is incurable, most people can still live a normal life with it without fear of death if it isn't a major matter.

But yeah... I would feel bad only if it happened due to terms beyond his control.

Since it's spread by blood to blood contact I doubt we'll ever see him in the ring again. He's aged pretty gracefully and didn't look too bad in the ring the past couple months.

X-Pac with an STD... How am I not surprised?

Honestly, I like Pac, he isn't that bad in the ring. Sure he isn't the 1998 X-Pac that imo was pretty good but compared to some of the other older guys he wasn't half bad.
