For months, since the signing of Bryan Danielson with WWE, people have been talking about possible scenarios for his debut, going from squashing people on Raw and Smackdown, to squashing main eventers, to just appearing on ECW and being a contender for the belt. Now, we know we are not getting any of that, but instead we are getting Daniel Bryan as the top of the class in the new show, NXT.
However, most scenarions concurred with one thing...it would be a crime for WWE to not talk about Danielson's past in the indys, at least make a brief mention of it. Well, check WWE.com, listen to the announcers, not only are they mention it, but that's the entire selling point for Daniel Bryan's character, and they have already created a feud so to speak against The Miz with their clash of personalities and the fact that they have even acknowledged the talk of people of Bryan knowing more than The Miz in WWE.com
So, is this how you envitioned Danielson coming into WWE? (you know, except for the Ultimate Fighter atmosphere he's coming in)
