So, is it fair to say, Nigel Mcguinness has redeemed himself?

I'm pretty sure we've all been down on Nigel at one point. The underdog push worked for a while, but pretty much became pitiful. He came off as whiny, and when he finally won the title, there was nowhere for his character to go, which is why the majority of fans turned on him. He has embraced the heel role perfectly. He's obviously a natural heel, and in my book, with his recent performances, he's redeemed himself. Watching him on the mic, I'm clueless as to why Ring Of Honor had him playing the baby face role in the first place. It almost seemed forced at times. Anyone agree?

I've always been a fan of Nigels, but as you said a lot of his recent matches have been great. I think to the people that felt that he needed to redeem himself, he has done just that.

Yes, he has redeemed himself. But as you said, it was never Nigel's fault. Going back to his days as the Pure Champion, you could tell that he was just better as a heel. I don't why it took so long for the higher-ups to realize this, but I'm glad that he did.

And not for nothing, the quality of his matches has improved a lot since turning heel. Its just easier for him to be a dick. He's kind of like Randy Orton... Minus the Chinlocks and the whole part about being boring >_>

I can't really say I've ever been a Nigel fan, but his title reign is great. He's one of the few guys that was a full on heel during the important stages of the title run. And it feels like he's been champion for a short while, but it's almost been 9 months since he won the belt.

I dont know, NIgel never really fell off anywhere in my book. He was injuried for a few shows, but i dont consider him falling off for that. I think he's done what has been asked/expected. He made a good turn to heel, and everyone is going as planned.

Yeah, I think he has redeemed himself, His doing great as a heel and better as champion. I like how his embracing the fact that people treat him like Cena and tell him that he does the "same old shit", He used it in his advantage being a heel and even rubs it to peoples faces.
