I'm like that to an extent, but once the CGI got REALLY good I started fucking with it more, but there was awhile there it was just a novelty and practical effects looked better anyway so CGI got a bad wrap bc of that

99% of the time I prefer to see something that physically filmed. Especially when it comes to monsters and shit like that. 80s animatronics are so much cooler than CGI.

CGI when they have to and for maybe big blockbuster action movies is fine to a degree.
