I got the game to work yesterday by the way and i was no longer bugging. Anyone with knowledge. I can only grow bananas, pineapples and coconuts at my farm. How do I figure out what will grow and what wont?

Chris is the farmer. So he should have an answer. I think he had problems getting stuff to grow in different places. But yeah whenever he's on he can tell you

The others need to be converted into seeds first before they can be planted. You can use a wheat mill.
