Was in the mood for writing, whilst being a bit drunk - and thought others might share their work as well if theyyyy want

Two Courses

The fisherman's net is a powerful instrument
Which makes a louder noise than a percussion band
The net is cast out into the ocean tied to the trawler
Feeding many along the chain.

But that rain, oh that rain is such a pain.

The cows and the sheep and the pigs and the chicken.
Rarely seen by most with oxygen in their lungs.
More commonly than not sealed with a plastic nightmare.
Are we filled with guilt and despair with the way their lives end?

But that sweet taste of meat, oh it is to die for.

[Nostradamus]

So I'm going to contribute to this from time to time. Here is one of my serious pieces:

“I Want to Wear Black”

I want to wear black,
So I can be seen against the morning sky
When I learn how to fly.

My arms outstretched like wings,
Slicing through the air
The way a blade cuts through the skin.
Giving me life,
Labored breathing,
In -
Every breath a dream,
And out -
Every scar a nightmare.

The wind screams
As it tries to hold my weight,
The weight I carry
In this cage called a mind
And this space called a heart.

I want to wear black,
So the trauma
Stained on my shirt
Is invisible to their eyes

I want it so black
That nobody knows
Since I was seventeen
I’ve worn the same few pairs of clothes.

I wear black because
I wanted to be different,
I tried to be different,
But I could never be different.
Yet I’ve always been treated
Different.

I want to wear black,
To be seen when I want to be
And to hide when I don’t want to be.

Once I finish flying,
When I come to a halt
Meeting the ground
As if it were for the first time.
I don’t want to wear black.

I want to wear white.
To my funeral.
So everybody can remember me,
As pure and beautiful.

Counting any higher and it will start again

The buildings start to burn and there is silence once again

Smoke. Soot. Ash. Death.
A gasmasks stifles us for breath.
In. Out. In. Out.
We are trapped below - the light is gone.

One, Two, Three, Four
I can't feel my leg
One, Two, Three, Four
Everywhere is cold and there is silence once again.

I can smell.
There must be a hole.
Out. Out. Out. Out.
I am trapped below, the air is gone.

One, Two, One
I think I'm done.
