Smackdown! to go LIVE?

According to a report by PWInsider.com, WWE is mulling over the idea of possibly broadcasting Friday Night Smackdown live on PPV weekends once the series moves to MyNetworkTV in the fall.

WWE currently tapes SmackDown on Tuesday or Wednesday and doesn't air until Friday.

While monthly live broadcasts are not confirmed, WWE will be doing a live broadcast of Smackdown on April 3rd,2009 as part of the Wrestlemania 25 weekend festivities.

So this means that WWE will only air Smackdown! live every month. Honestly, I'm all for it. Maybe the crowd will sound more alive and I'm sure the rating will go up since there won't be any spoilers.

Sounds good...but it'd be alot better if they did it weekly not just once a month...but i'm sure if they do it and it does good enough they would definitly do it more then once a month...

That would be great. SD would be good live, and I would like that ALL the time, but I guess once a month or so is a good star. Hope it happens.

It's obvious that they're taking the SD network move VERy seriosuly what with lots of top talen tgoing over there in the Draft. Guess this is the next step. Will be good to have SD sans spoilers for once. TNA Impact needs to do this more often too... but less of a crappy live show next time around lol

Hell yeah I want this to happen but I would really like it to be live every week like RAW. This is a great idea and it will probably get more people in the stadiums.

Not sure what you're talking about, the Live episode of TNA iMPACT! was awesome and just about everyone on here loved it...including me obviously

^^Wasn't that the show where everything kept going wrong...Like video's without sound and stuff...It was kinda flawed...but not that bad...but they should try harder next time...

whoa Vince really is trying with it, they get all those good popular guys now they are having live shows every now and then, thats great Smackdown > RAW in the future :shifty:
