1. World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan comes out for a promo. He's predictably interrupted by his WrestleMania XXVIII opponent Sheamus. Sheamus said he'd beat him and called Bryan DANNY BOY, FELLA. This promo was underwhelming just like this feud. Two awesome superstars combine for the least interesting WrestleMania World Title program in forever--if ever. Although with time, their match could be very, very good given who's involved.


Mark Henry is backstage talking to ABRAHAM WASHINGTON (No Audio).



--Recap of David Otunga beating U.S. Champion Santino Marella in a non-title match from RAW last night is shown.



2. Mark Henry def. R-Truth via World's Strongest Slam. Henry recovers nicely after getting Rock Bottomed by his old Nation of Domination buddy last night. For kids under the age of 20, Wikipedia it. Thanks.


According to our reporter, Zack Ryder's dad and his friend (and Z! True Long Island Story co-star) Big O keep walking around the arena. I'm told they're "VERY ANNOYING." Not my words....Can't blame them for trying to save their boy's already dead midcard credibility though...


3. Yokozuna is confirmed for WWE Hall of Fame 2012. R.I.P.


4. An awkward yet funny backstage segment with Ryder, Smackdown GM Teddy Long, and Aksana. Ryder begged to be on Team Teddy at WrestleMania. Teddy said Eve Torres was in his head and "no." Hornswoggle came in and said the team needed a mascot. Great Khali came in BROSKI gear LOL. Teddy finally decided Zack Ryder is on Team Teddy at WrestleMania. Everyone said WOO WOO WOO YOU KNOW IT.


5. AJ Lee (w/ Daniel Bryan) def. One of The Bella Twins after miscommunication. The twins argued.


Vickie Guerrero gets insane heat before introducing her clients and Team John Laurinaitis members Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger.


6. Zack Ryder def. Swagger via Rough Ryder.


7. WWE Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes is interviewed backstage by Matt Striker. They recap Rhodes' boxing-themed beatdown on Big Show from RAW the night before. Rhodes says WrestleMania XXVIII is on April 1 and it's April fools--the biggest fool being Show when he loses to him.


8. Kane vs. Big Show in a Monday Night RAW rematch ended in a disqualification in favor of Show. Rhodes ran in to cause the DQ.


9. Randy Orton blindsided Kane with an RKO.



10. Brodus Clay w/ Funkettes def. Heath Slater with a splash. Brodus has green gear that matches his pyro. Awesome.


11. Eve Torres verbally crapped on Zack Ryder. At least we think so. Audio was bad....Poor Zack.


Christian comes out for commentary. Khali comes out with Teddy.



12. Great Khali vs. Dolph Ziggler. Teddy, Laurinaitis, David Otunga at ringside. Laurinaitis prematurely calls for bell after Ziggler locks in Sleep Hold. Teddy gonna reverse the decision. Overbooked. Khali gets win after Ziggler is counted out. Santino and Kofi Kingston throw Ziggler back in ring. He eats a chop to the head. Poor Dolph.


Miz is backstage with AJ and Daniel Bryan. He says "WE NEED THIS." They say nothing. Poor Miz.


13. MAIN EVENT: WWE Champion CM Punk and Sheamus def. The Miz and World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan (w/ AJ) after Sheamus nailed Miz with the Brogue Kick. Poor Miz.

This show just seems like a whole lot of nothing going on which I'm expecting a lot of short matches given how much is on here. Really wish they would put somewhat some effort into Sheamus/Bryan build up.

Most matches were said to be around under 5 minutes, a bit like RAW :/

The reason there so short is to avoid any injury to anyone due to Wrestlemania being next week I don't blame them John Cena being in a car accident would've scared them big time.

I don't think Sheamus/Bryan needs build tbh. It's going to be a 10-12 minute match that's pretty much a mid-card match at Mania.

The World title has taken a back seat ever since Edge retired to be honest. Shame for Christians reigns. Smackdown looks interesting, will catch it at some point.

More detailed set of spoilers:

*World champion Daniel Bryan and AJ come out to cut a promo. Bryan holds the mic while AJ recites all the reasons Bryan is great. Bryan is whsipering in her ear telling her all the reasons, including him yelling at her when she called him Danny. Sheamus comes out and says this is making him sick. He calls Bryan Danny, which gets fans chanting it at him. He promises to win the World title at Wrestlemania. AJ was really good in the segment. Lots of fans chanting "Yes!" during the segment.

*Mark Henry pinned R Truth. Killed him might be a better description.

*They announced Yokozuna for the WWE Hall of Fame.

*There is a backstage segment with Zack Ryder begging Teddy Long to let him be on the Wrestlemania team. Long says no. Zack brings in Hornswoggle, who shows up with a team flag so he's the mascot. Long still says no. Zack brings in Great Khali dressed in Zack gear. Long asks if he's in and Zack says "Woo Woo Woo You Know It." So, Khali and Zack are on the team and Horny is the mascot.

*AJ defeated Brie Bella. Nikki cut a promo where she's rooting for Team Teddy while Brie on Team Johnny, so it appears they are going to be added to that segment as well.

*Zack Ryder defeated Jack Swagger. Lilian Garcia accidentally introduced Ryder as "Long Island Iced Z Jack Swagger." Oops!

*Cody Rhodes cut a quick promo backstage "earlier in the day" promising to win at Wrestlemania then left saying he has a plane to catch.

*Kane vs. Big Show went to a no contest. Rhodes came out of the crowd. Show chased him back out through the crowd. This left Kane alone in the ring. Orton came from under the ring and nailed an RKO.

*Brodus Clay defeated Heath Slater.

*Eve Torres blew off Zack Ryder backstage.

*Christian came to ringside for commentary.

*Dolph Ziggler (with David Otunga & John Laurinaitis) vs. Great Khali (with Teddy Long). Ziggler put Khali in a sleeper. Laurinaitis called for the bell. Teddy restarted the match and said he would count out Ziggler if he didn't return. He was counted out. Santino and Kingston tossed Ziggler back into the ring, where Khali chopped him.

*WWE champ CM Punk & Sheamus defeated World champion Daniel Bryan & The Miz when Sheamus drilled Miz with the Brogue Kick.

Looks a rather crappy show bar the opener and main event. Will still give it a watch regardless.
