Shinsuke is a "rockstar" so it fits and Corbin is the bully that puts his power on display, which is emphasized by his entrance.

They have both been wrotten terribly then.. because I don't get either of those gimmicks when I watch them

Nakamura's gimmick is really tied up into his presence, how he moves and how he talks...and of course being the King of Strong Style... how hard a smaller guy like him wrestles
