But Jericho and Mysterio for the IC title was great, CM Punk broke out as a heel, Edge and Hardy had two great World title matches on PPV, John Morrison really was breaking out (too bad they didn't give him the chance) and Dolph had a good chase for the IC belt

The Punk/Hardy/Edge feud for the title was great

And Undertaker was still in his game in 2009 too

Yup, that was before Undertaker really was slowing down

And while the HIAC match with him and Punk was underwhelming, his title run was used to set up his classic rematch with HBK the next year

Plus wasn't that when Batista turned heel (his last turn before he left)?

Oh yeah...when Batista came back. Yeah, it was a great turn

The removal of his popular pyro and using the spotlight instead was a good call

Removed something loved, and having the spotlight on him in the ring was great heel heat
