Oh boy.
I remember way back on Sims 1 I broke an installation of the game because I downloaded so many mods and custom things. I wanted to go back and look at some of that stuff but most of the domains got sold off or shut down.
People are pretty dedicated to making mods for these games though. I've seen some impressive stuff.

I get the stuff on Sims Resource I believe. I was going to get a few expansions last week cause they were on sale but it ended before I could check out. I ended up looking for modded items just to refresh the game and I am pleased.
