~~~~~
At Rebellion, in a rematch for the Tag Team Titles, Mysterio and Edge took on Benoit and Angle. This match would exceed their previous match, with Angle taking a hard bump after a Spear on the outside. Angle would power through and made Edge tap out to an Angle Lock, allowing The Submission Machines to retain the titles.
Throughout the next few weeks, Angle and Benoit would defend successfully against Los Guerreros and Billy/Chuck. On Survivor Series, The Submission Machines were set to take on Mysterio/Edge, Billy/Chuck, and Eddie/Chavo in a 4-Way Tornado Tag Team Match. Angle and Benoit looked to have the match won, locking Chuck in a Angle Lock/Crippler Crossface combo. Chuck was about to tap out before Chavo pulled The Referee out of the ring. Chuck tapped out with no referee to see. Edge and Mysterio entered the ring and took out Benoit and Angle. Then Eddie and Chavo got in the ring and began brawling. Chuck slowly picked himself up as Edge speared Eddie. Chuck would nail Edge in the back of the head with a Tag Team Title Belt, before covering him. The Referee got in the ring and counted to three before anyone could break the fall up.
