Basically when it comes to wrestling forums, it's not 2001 anymore. If you look at wrestling sites, there's not a ton of really super active ones, there's Wrestling Forum, Wrestling Clique and Wrestling Zone who are the big 3 and a whole bunch of medium and small sized boards in our range.
I've done what I've can to try to help this place grow and pumped in a decent amount of cash and have even talked to other smaller sites about merging or purchansing and coming over here, but people just aren't willing to make a deal.
I'm honestly content with where this place is though, we have a staff that contributes and have been a close nit group for well over 3 years, and a nice group of core members that accept this place for what it is and enjoys it. The 1,000 member thing is flawed with the majority of that just being people that registered for free. This place isn't going to get huge overnight for the reasons I mentioned above, and might never get to this point, I'm not looking to get rich off this or anything so it's just a place to talk about shit, and if it happens to boom so be it, but I'm realistic about how a forum grows.
