I'll be damned but I agree with Cenamark. Nobody is a believable threat to Triple H's reign. In fact, only Randy Orton was, that in Judgment Day, and not because the way he was booked, but people said that HHH doesn't care about quality but quantity of his reigns.

With Cena, everyone was expecting for him to drop the belt, and with Orton, it was fun because on every feud he had he was expected to lose it.

Surely for those that don't enjoy a HHH title reign the ANTICIPATION of loss is still similar to Cena... Maybe I'm thinking a little too Smark-like, but surely everyone expects HHH to lose it at SOME point....

Regardless, I think it's a bit unfair to judge HHH's reign in this manner.... He's only had 2 title defenses so far (both in a continuation of the HHH/Orton Saga)and it's blatant to see the bookers have been forced to tread-water somewhat because of the dumb timing of the draft...

If, for example, Taker was drafted to Raw and immediately put up against HHH as #1 contender for GAB, I think this "boring", "no-ones a threat" reign would instantly garner a VERY different level of anticipation...

In short there's fuck all credible people for him to face.... THIS is why it's "boring" (not that I've reached boredom yet myself).

^^^^The WWE should have thought of this before they put the Belt on HHH. You can't just put the belt on the "best guy" it has to be the right guy.

The time wasn't right. You can give all the what if's you want. It doesn't change the fact that his reign has been shit and probably will be until he drops the belt.

They should have stayed with Orton.

All they need to do is put the belt on Cena.

Its clear that people are sick and tired of the long title reign "anyone but Cena" has had. Its time to freshen things up and get the belt back on Cena.

Need evidence? Look at the ratings the week before Cena dropped the belt and look at them now.

Ratings were good during Orton's reign because of the anticipation that Cena would come back and defeat the evil voice hearing guy.

The problem now is that no one expects Cena to beat HHH for the belt, so they dont care. Thats right, there is absolutely no reason to care about Triple H as champion. At least when Orton was champ they had something to look forward to.

Ratings will continue to plummet until Cena wins the belt.

that actually makes sense
Cena makes money, HHH should turn heel and dominate the brand.

-What do you think>? Would you want WWE to bring back some legends for the short term to help ratings?
no, they should move Kofi to raw and push him to the moon.
-Do you think it could help ratings?
no.no.no.
-Which legends would you suggest bringing back (be realistic)?
hmm, Ted DiBase as a manger

You can give all the what if's you want.

One "if" was more than enough, thanks.... ;o]

You're right. Ultimately you can only pin the blame on WWE's decisions, but I maintain the bigger cock-up was the date of the draft... You can see BOTH main shows are struggling (and N.O.C. looks uninspiring) because of it.

They should have stayed with Orton.

Won't hear an argument out of me there... (Even if, before he dropped it, the majority of IWF'ers screamed "you can't have someone hold the belt THAT long" at my suggestion of him holding the belt well into the summer.)

I would have had him hold onto it until Wrestlemania 25.

^^^Still no argument from me....

At this stage, I wanna see him beat HHH for the title @ WM... I think that's the 'missing link' for Orton. Unfortunately I don't think It'll happen given the mileage they've already squeezed out of their fued.... At least for a few years.

TBH, i know many of you may h8 this but i ahve to agree with Cena Mark. Cena As Champ=Good Ratings. And he is good as champ. The reason i watched RAW every week was the anticipation of him losing the belt. When he finally lost the title i watched less. Then i started to hate Orton so i watched more in anticipation of Orton losing the title to a returning John Cena. Then when Cena did not win the title and HHH did i lost intrest again. HHH is boring as champ because you want him to keep the title but there is no poin in tuning in coz you know he will keep the title. So basically i think wrestlers who are hated are the best shamps coz people will want to tune in to see people like Cena beat them. I think the only faces that you would tune in to watch while champs are Batista, Shawn Michaels, Take and Chris Jericho because those guys you can expect to lose the title.
