Sine NXT has been established as WWE's developmental Territory, they brought in three championships to it, each a part of their own division. The NXT Championship for the men's singles division, the NXT Tag Team Championship, their tag team title, and lastly the NXT Women's Championship.
As of the past years or two, NXT has been dominated by "independent wrestlers" and while it has been a great place for indy stars to adapt to WWE's style, improve on the mic, or just establish themselves to the WWE audience, there is a bit of a glass ceiling for those who don't have as much experience. There are very few "WWE creations" that have really contended for the NXT Championship. Big E, Bo Dallas, Tyler Breeze (who is very underrated IMO) and Tyson Kidd. That is all I know off the top of my head. There is a decent glass ceiling for these competitors and if they want to establish themselves and get out of NXT, then there may need to be a tool in place to give them more exposure. One thing I propose could help is a mid-card title for NXT. Back in FCW, there was the FCW 15 medal (don't remember the name off hand) which was always contended in 15 minute Iron Men matches and people like Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose competed for it. NXT has been around for a few years and perhaps it is the time they bring a new belt into the fold. Maybe a Television...or Network...or Internet title? Another title?
What do you think, WWEF, is it time for NXT to bring a new belt into the fold or sometime down the road?
