If they let his personality shine more, he'd be in a much better position. Like, in-ring wise he is not a general, but once you give him a mic he can entertain you. They could put him with Drake Maverick/Rockstar Spud since they have great chemistry.

Here are some examples from when he was in TNA and maybe an NXT moment or two where he was entertaining as hell or just a great talker.







One with him all the way back as Derrick Bateman



Him reuniting with someone from NXT where they were once in a romantic storyline together.



And there are plenty of more examples if you look on YouTube, trust me, you'll chuckle.

He looks impressive & his wrestling is solid to great...
but...
I just personally don't "Get Him"

He might be a little too "normal" for my tastes.

I feel like he needs to be the leader of a faction, to surround
himself with some lackeys & to carry himself with more of
a smug arrogance.

Maybe have him form an alliance with Bobby/Robert Roode &
The Miz & Maryse...have them hire the Authors of Pain as their
muscle...perhaps make them a dominant "Mid-card" faction?

Perhaps he could do better in another light, but as of now, fuck him. He’s not that great in the ring, promos are blah, and he seems like a guy who’s literally where he’s at on overall looks.
