That's the logic they used with Orton after he was at his peak on Raw, but Smackdown isn't exactly booming at all. Aside from that the brands are now integrated so it wouldn't make much of a difference.

Smackdown used to be the place for the wrestlers Brock, Benoit, Angle, Guerrero. Then it became kind of like a developmental show where the younger guys would get TV time. I don't know what it is now. Maybe it needs some star power like a Punk or a Cena to make it pick up again. IIRC Smackdown is strictly a PG show from start to finish, so Cena would be the poster boy for it. It would also get him off of RAW every Monday :jeritroll:

SD is just a place for Raw rematches and Raw recaps these days.
