WWE kicked off their tour in Monterrey, Mexico last night with a RAW brand show. Nothing special happened but CM Punk teamed with John Morrison to defeat The Miz and R-Truth. The main event saw WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio return to Mexico and lose to John Cena via DQ.

I'm more surprised the fact Morrison teamed up with CM Punk in a victory... How?

Well HHH isn't going to wrestle on a house show and they needed another face so Morrison fits the bill.

Ryder > Morrison.
Your delusional and a typical downer. I love Zach but his in ring work is only decent. Morrison can deliver always and never fails. Such a awful post, then again I woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. Still for a guy who consistently posts, what a stupid post. Ryder has proved little to nothing in the ring wise while Morrison has had matches that ill never forget.

I disagree about Ryder; I think he brings an interesting style to the ring. He bumps like a champ, and I like his moveset. On top of that, he is pretty smooth in the ring.
Ryder can't be pushed up so high to replace Morrison in this match. I mean it's just way too fast! He is just getting his first push, one that is to place him in the solid midcard; he can't go straight to mainevent yet.
Morrison has good in-ring skills (no shit, they're pretty polished at this point). Morrison has no mic-skill, but his physical performance is great. He is going out the door as it seems though.
The perfect push for Morrison I think would be for him to win the MITB briefcase. Sucks that he is soon to leave.

BRMP, Yes my comment was short.

I'm typing with just one hand seeing I've disoclated my shoulder.

Right now Ryder is above Morrison... If you watch the past month Morrison has became Evan Bourne of 2010 (The Ultimate Jobber).

Now he's just there with CM Punk, they could have used Kofi or anybody else as well. When it comes to being de-pushed or pushed... You need to do it in a role, it might have been a house show nonetheless but I could have easily put many to face Awesome Truth instead of Morrison.

However, it does make sense for Morrison being there.

Perhaps he resigned or all the bad internet noise about how he was buried on Raw?

I got a strange feeling he's signed onto WWE, there's no way he would have been put in the main event..

I am a big Ryder mark but even I wouldn't put Ryder ahead of Morrison at this stage. Ryder has to actually start winning more on television so that the casual fans take him seriously. Putting Ryder in the mainevent now would be like putting Santino in the mainevent. Morrison was the right choice for this house show. Plus I assume that Ryder would have been teaming with Kofi to defend the tag team titles since Bourne is injured.

Ryder at this point = The Hurricane when he was tagging with the Main Eventers he can be seen with them but he's not one of them.

I hope he is part of the storyline because it makes sense and I really hope he's woken up and actually have listened to those backstage.

What storyline could he be part of? Would he be on Johnny Ace's side claiming that HHH buried him? I can't see that happening unless Morrison turns heel.

Nah, guess they needed a face seeing Bourne is injured and they didn't want Ryder in the main event...

I am actually surprised they didn't use Mason Ryan. Sounds crazy at first but he was used in the 12 man tag on RAW ahead of Ryder so I wouldn't put it past WWE.
