Also, can someone explain to me the difference between SHINE and SHIMMER?! :why:

They both almost have the same roster so it's like :dafuq: What's the point of having two companies (if they are two companies) if the roster is almost exactly the same?

The SHINE promotion is associated with Shimmer. It's newer -- just started last year. Unless something has changed, from what I understand Shine's events are all iPPVs and take place between Shimmer tapings.

You got it wrong. Shimmer and Shine are separate promotions not associated with each other. Shine is the WWN's family's own female promotion run out of Florida. Shimmer runs out of Chicago. They have a working relationship. But I haven't found any info on shine being a part of Shimmer in any way as you described it.

What I read about it early on when I first looked into it was that SHINE was associated with Shimmer. But that was from the middle of last year when the promotion first started up and I was looking into it.

What I can find on it all from Shine's own site is that they have a working agreement. They share some roster members and can run events together if they wish. Other than that they are separate entities.
