You know what's funny?
Whenever I think of the Shibuya ward...I always think
of a couple of particular scenes from a couple of Kaiju
Films...
+ Gamera 3: The Revenge of Iris +
The first kaiju fight of the film takes place in
Shibuya as Gamera "chases" 3 Gyaos into the
ward, landing & turning the place into an inferno
despite the many humans in the crossfire.
Its actually one of the best ever scenes in any
kaiju film ever.
I'd post a clip...but I can't find a decent copy.
+ Godzilla vs. Megaguirus +
The entire ward is flooded as the giant mutant
insect Megagurius finally hatches and goes
on a short (& wire heavy) rampage.
Again...I can't find a clip.
