Shia Labeouf 'Confused' By Transformers

Shia LaBeouf admits the second 'Transformers' film was ''confused'' and says he ''hated'' it.

Shia LaBeouf "hated" 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen'.

The 23-year-old actor, who played Sam Witwicky in the action franchise, admits the sequel was "confused" and he often didn't know what was happening on-set.

He said: "There are a lot of people that liked the second one, but I hated it. I just didn't enjoy it.

"I thought we missed the mark. I got confused, I couldn't see what the f**k was going on, you know with certain robots... I couldn't decipher what was happening.

"There were storyline paths that I just wouldn't have gone down."

Despite his unhappiness, Shia has faith in the franchise's producers and believes the forthcoming third instalment will be a big improvement.

He added to FHM magazine: "I know that directors Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg are dedicated to making the best movie we possibly can, and we're not going to miss next time."

Shia thinks the second film suffered as a result of the strike by Hollywood writers.

He said: "We were making our second movie in the middle of the writers' strike. We had no script. We had to work with nothing. We literally had like 40 pages. And everything was sort of made on the fly.

"But I think this time we will be more concise, and in a definite direction where we want to take it."

I still thought the movie kicked total ass, but looking back on it it had some major holes in the entire plot. Anyways, cool cars, megan fox, explosions, megan fox in slow motion, and giant robots is my kind of movie.

The first Transformers was awesome. The 2nd? Hell no. I don't regret seeing it but it's terrible compared to it's prequel.

It absolutely was awful. They need to bring the Dinobots in the next movie & a decent script. Dinobots were the shit back in the day, especially Grimlock.

I hate both of the movies, but if they bring in the dinobots I will go see the shit out of that movie.

Won't ever pay money to see "ADHD CGI Porn" like this.

Michael Bay is a hack, you guys.

Shia LeDouche is a shit actor, I don't care how many self-important Hollywood people claim he's good.

I thought the first movie was decent, after seeing it two-three times over after the wow effect weared off. The second one was full metal garbage.

And did I read that right? Steven Spielberg is now involved?

Both were pretty shit. But they're made for 11 year old boys anyway, so whatever. Megan Fox isn't all that either.

Spielberg was already involved, he was the executive producer for both movies.

Not like it helped any though.

It probably wouldn't have helped even if Spielberg had directed it himself. Over the last 13 years he's become a cornball. I lost all respect for him after he edited ET for content in the early 2002. He used CGI to make the FBI agents carry walkie-talkies instead of their guns & used it to replace ET with the version ILM made as a background character in The Phantom Menace for some scenes where he thought the animatronics weren't good. I always thought the animatronic running in the beginning was part of the charm of the movie, but Spielberg sees things like this as failure. The South Park parody of it was a brilliant episode, "Free Hat". I also blame him for making Indiana Jones have aliens, which is just Blue.

I think the reputation people gave the 2nd Transformers will kill the hype around the 3rd film greatly. The majority, not me, thought ROTF sucked so that means most people won't even give the 3rd one a chance.

I actually liked both the movies. The 2nd one was more aimed for teenagers to adults though and put alot more focus on the comedy. All the robots in it were confusing cause I couldn't keep up with who was who so when they were killed (which was awesome btw) it didn't mean anything. I lol'd when Optimus died in the 2nd one though.

I never saw either, it just didn't appeal to me the way I hoped it would. I loved the animated series of the 80's. I heard there was no Blur. Is this true? He was my favorite. I'm completely sad to hear there were no Dinobots, what about insecticons? Starscream? Has Megatron turned into Galvatron yet? And for the third, it'd be sick if they took it away from earth and gave Unicron the Hollywood treatment. Sorry to ask so many questions, I just want to know if I am missing anything, because I have always thought I'm not.
