Don't see it happening to be honest I just see it as they are trying to give his character a bit of emotion and not just have him as a one dimensional superhero.

I saw that, but it was followed by fella smiley smiles so I lost all hope again.

You just hate the fella. You'll be aight. His character is clearly being given an edge (as you have been calling for) but you'll just keep on hating. If kicking refs in the face isn't good enough for you idk what to tell you.

The smile is damn annoying. First he's angry and screaming, and then he ends with a smile. So weird..

His smile does grate they need to give him an edge though as despite not being a fan up until the recent superman build and the WM squash I didn't dislike him I just wish they'd give his character something more interesting on play on the warrior side a lot more.

Are you moronic or trolling?

I even made a thread weeks back saying I want to hate fella but I can't. I like the guy, I loved his heel run. He was pushed way too early, he looks like a clown and no-sells like Big Show but I still like him. I wanted him to be that badass anti-hero tough guy, but he turned into Big Show v2.

Every single face is against Johnny Ace, every single heel is on his side. Johnny's opening speech showed that, it's not a "tweener" turn if you hate Ace, hell, even Jerry Lawler is flaming Ace. Kicking the ref isn't a sign of a tweener turn either when he blatantly made a mistake and became (at the time) a heel with the crowd. Kicking someone in the face who everyone hates doesn't make you a tweener.

I guarantee next week he'll be the same guy and I'll continue to laugh.

Where did I say he was a tweener? I simply said he has an edge. Kicking a ref in the face isn't something a typical happy go lucky face would do even if he made a mistake. I know you want every face on Earth to be an antihero, but the WWE doesn't want an antihero atm. I'd love to see it as well, but fact is Sheamus kicking a ref in the face is the closest we will get to a face doing something besides shaking hands and kissing babies.

I don't want every face to be an anti-hero, but you're right, I would like one. Sheamus was that guy, Orton WAS that guy. This won't change that, one ref-kicking moment doesn't make him a completely different person at all. That was my point.

Obviously one kick doesn't change much if he goes back to being a generic WWE face next week, but neither of us know if that will happen at this point. I can only base things on what I saw happen on Raw & SD over the past week, and the conclusion I come up with is that they seem to be trying to make Sheamus more of a badass. Feel free to disagree if you wish, only time will tell if my hypothesis is accurate or not.
