Sharon Stone to host SummerSlam?

Sharon Stone has been issued an odd challenge by the boy she babysat as a teenager.

Stone revealed she was asked to host the WWE's SummerSlam TV spectacular for his 50th birthday in 2012.

Jim Burkhart, who was born with Down Syndrome, has always maintained a close friendship with his famous former babysitter and now he wants her to do something special for him.

"He wants me to host the SummerSlam wrestling show for his birthday next year," Stone told news show Extra.

The actress has not made it clear if she is considering the request or if she has had negotiations with the organizers of the 2012 SummerSlam event.

Thoughts? Would you be interested in seeing a celeb host the event?

We already saw the Celeb Guest Host bit and it already failed. Though I don't ever recall someone of that fame being on. But are celeb guest hosts necessary fuck no.

If WWE wants to stay current they would say no thanks to any request.

She probably doesn't even watch wrestling....I prefer an old school wrestler to host. Can't stand it when they get people who pretend to like it when they don't even know what is going on.

Won't happen. It is just one fan that wants her to do it. Majority of the fan base will have no idea who she is since she has done nothing notable for over a decade. Won't get WWE much positive publicity.

I agree with CM Punkette, much better when they get a former wrestler to host the event rather than someone who is there just to plug their product.

Well first of all it is a sweet story, but this shouldn't happen, and second Summerslam doesn't need a host, now if they still had the guest host thing on Raw [which I am pleased they don't], then I would not have a problem with her appearing on there.

Maybe WWE can give him tickets to the show and she can go with him to the show. WWE are very good with things like that, they do a lot to help people out and make their wishes come true.

That would be a good story, and I'm with you guys, if this was a decade and a half ago maybe, but she hasn't done anything at all worth a damn lately.

And guest hosts suuuuuuuuck to begin with haha

Guest Hosts are okay if there is a proper role for them to play. A guest host for Raw Roulette would have worked well since they can spin the wheel and be part of the show that way. Guest Host for PPV's don't make that much sense especially when they are random celebrities.
