NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Once he's gone they will see how badly they need him tbh. He owns the shit out of Steph and HHH too. We are all really gonna miss the Pony Dance!

Good for him. I'd want to get away from that psycho business too. Nepotism ftl.

Guess which McMahon won't be invited to the family reunion in 15 years time.

to anyone who thinks its a story line swerve your not to bright. The WWE being a publicly traded company can not lie to there stock holders about there top level executives leaving or not leaving the company.

I would imagine its Shane wondering if he can do something else without his family. I mean its not that uncommon for a kid who grows up in the family buisness to want to leave and be there own man. I can only imagine Shane is feeling the same way

Also for those who said maybe a MMA thing I could see that as well. Quite a few years ago before Zuffa bought UFC Shane tried to convince Vince that they should purchase it and run UFC as a seperate buisness. Shane has always wanted the WWE to try a sister MMA Buisness, instead we got Bodybuilding in the 80's and then more recent history Football. It is possible that Shane is either looking to start his own MMA Promotion or maybe even buying whole or part of an existing MMA Promotion realizing that his father will never get on board. Shane no doubt is still is a larger share holder in the company and will no doubt be the majority share holder of the WWE with Stephanie in the future and will no doubt be back, but he's probably hoping that by that time that his MMA buisness is good to merge it all under the WWE Corperate unbrella by the time that roles around

noumenon: Vince has this business in his blood. It's been in his family for generations, to say HHH is more qualified to make decisions just because he's got more ring time is asinine.

Not to mention it is for sure Stephanie who'll be running the show. If for instance they get divorced do you really think it'll be HHH who stays on?

I never said HHH is a better business man than Vince, simply that perhaps the WWE may be able to benefit from having an actual wrestler at the reigns of a lot of creative decisions. Also I'm sure you don't think Vince is the one making all the business decisions do you? Because he's most definitely not, he's got teams upon teams of people coming up with all his ideas and he simply puts his signature on whatever he feels is the best idea.

No. but it's widely reported that all creative goes through him, forget the money side of it. Vince has been in the business longer than HHH has been ALIVE, that makes him a very capable person.

I think Shane wants to start a new career away from the pro-wrestling world.
I think he is fed up from all the bumps he got and all the same exact routine he's doing for so many years. He wanted a change I think.

Yes because wrestling history (WCW) has always shown that to be true.

Kevin Nash is not the only wrestler that had the creative books over the years...he was just the last....and they were all disasters.
