yeahhhhh he's going to go to TNA and end up buying TNA and competing with his father... ultimately causing his death (heart attack), which then in turn Shane will merge WWE/TNA together :D

It's not about him as a wrestler. Him leaving imo, actually puts full control of WWE into the hands of Stephanie and HHH once the old man retires, which I think, isn't a good thing. I thought Shane was always the more rational of the children from reports, and if that were true, then without him, we'll probably get more ridiculous storylines.

Now If I remember correctly Shane helped in the media department, which I don't quiet know what that involves I'm pretty sure it doesn't involve storylines and such.

As far as HHH making dumber storylines, I don't think that will be the case since he and HBK are the ones that are said to prevent Vince from running a bunch of weird storylines. I do think things will get stricter than they already are if/when HHH takes over WWE as far as younger guys getting pushed and such.

Exactly, it's usually HHH who swerves Vince away from the majority of his ridiculous fucking story lines. He's got a great wrestling mind and a good eye for talent. And if his promos are any indication, he's really not a fan of this whole PG shit.
Imagine a WRESTLER, and a fan of WRESTLING running the WRESTLING business rather than a man in his 60's completely out of touch apparently with what people want to see.
HHH for CEO imo

I see a storyline swerve :shifty: something like he shows up on TNA ground one day like he did on WCW Nitro and it begins a WWE and TNA wars etc. but meh/ just too much of shocking news to beleive it and take it in. Hard to believe that a McMahon resigned from the E'

Until I see a legit reason for his resignation, I'm not completely buying it either.

Just thought that I'd post it in here rather than make a new thread.

Source: PWInsider

To say those working for World Wrestling Entertainment were shocked this morning when the announcement came that Shane McMahon was leaving the company at the beginning of the year would be a huge understatement. There was no notice to anyone, not even those working directly under McMahon, that this was brewing.

There's been no definitive word as to McMahon's future plans, but the general expectation within WWE has been that Shane must be going to work with his mother, Linda, on her Senatorial bid for the State of Connecticut. Again, that is conjecture from some within the company, not hard fact.

I figured that had something to do with it... either that or his own political dreams or something. Regardless, I'm sure the guy has enough money to last him quite a while whatever he chooses to do.

I agree with the above post. I really do think that HHH would be really good at running the company. And not just because i like him.

There has never in the history of the wrestling business EVER been a case where a professional wrestler/former professional wrestler has been capable of running a promotion without running it to the ground.

There are no exceptions, and this won't be one. Triple H gains control of WWE, it's like an earlier poster said. You will see the same damn guys in the main event for the rest of eternity, and WWE will die like WCW did. Because wrestler/bookers don't know shit about how to properly run a business.

HHH's wrestling knowledge combined with Stephanie's business knowledge I'm sure wouldn't be a disaster. Vince is doing a fine enough job of running the product into the ground as it is.

You ever heard of a guy named Jeff Jarett?
