According to Wrestling News World, an internal investigation was launched by IMPACT Wrestling against a top management official.

Reportedly, the investigation stems from claims of sexual harassment within the workplace. Also, contract extension clauses were being used as leverage to ensure the accusers would sign Non-Disclosure Agreements.

Here is the official statement from Anthem Sports (via Wrestling News World):

“Anthem confirms that an allegation of inappropriate behavior by a member of the Impact Wrestling executive team was made by a former talent, but not until many months after the talent had been released. These allegations played no part in the decision by Impact Wrestling to release the talent.


Once the allegation was made, Anthem engaged an external human resources consultant to conduct an investigation, who retained independent counsel for advice on the matter. An inquiry was held in consultation with the complainant and the allegations were proven to be completely without merit. The matter is closed. No disciplinary action was deemed necessary and none was taken.”

It is noted in the report that one of the accusers/talent involved in the situation was granted their release by the company as opposed to having their contract extended.

At this time the IMPACT official and accusers are anonymous. The staff here at eWN will provide updates as they become available.

Well you never wanna hear this all and I was thinking who could it be with the Talent and Official involved in this. The first person that came to mind was Scarlett Bordeaux, but it can be anyone on the Roster at the time that was allegedly sexually harassed by someone from Impact Wrestling's Staff. I'll be checking in hard with this one as this develops.

Yeah when I first read it I had to go wait what then why let this come out on now? I still find it interesting and even though it was closed it doesn't mean it didn't happen. It probably means more they didn't enough to go on to go further with it.
