This is factually inaccurate.
Ambrose has brilliant in ring and mic skills, Reigns has good mic skills and his in ring stuff is getting better.

Rollins are Reigns will both be main-eventers within the next 2-3 years..... I see Ambrose being a midcard... because that's the way WWE is grooming them... who takes nearly every pinfall when the Shield lose? Ambrose. Who was the beginning cause of the eventual splitup of the Shield? Ambrose. Who has been shown time and time again to be the weak link. Ambrose. The way WWE creative is they will never move him beyond that.

Seth Rollins is the member least likely to fail at what they give him, in most part, because the least is expected out of his career moving forward.
With Reigns, you never really know how he'll fly considering he isn't the most fan friendly... he isn't Cena/Hogan... more like Batista/Goldberg which means he could go either way, but ultimately end up being a booed for the same reasons as Batista
Ambrose is a bit of an anomaly... he could hit or he could really miss... I believe they have a lot for him but he won't surpass Bray (whom I believe they are grooming for face runs in the future) and you can only have so many significant heel on the roster

The Shield is a super group who WWE knew all three could make it, the likes of which I haven't seen before... If Seth is a face he will do well... if he is a heel he will do well... he won't flop, but he won't be a huge star because nobody is expecting him to be

I like Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns. They are both very entertaining in the ring and I would say they both have a chance of being successful. As for Ambrose... He needs to do something to be more entertaining, I think he's pretty boring. You know I forgot who he won the US Championship from. How long has Ambrose had it? No one really challenges him for it so his reign as Champion is like AJ's with the Diva's title. Sure you're going to be the longest champion when you don't defend it.

As to the OP, think of it this way:

Reigns is Cena/the Rock/Hogan.
Ambrose is Punk/Austin/Piper.
Reigns is Bryan/HBK/Flair.

Reigns will be the over-the-top huge star, who, whether he's face or heel, will get pushed. Ambrose is a very talented in-ring guy who can get over with his mic skills and plays better as a heel than a face, but will give enough of an "anti-hero" vibe that he will be able to work some as a face. Rollins is a high-flyer (although that's not all he is) and has the best technical skill of the group who will work better as a face than a hell, but he'll be able to generate some heat when it's called for.

As far as success? It really depends on what you mean by "success". Chances are that Reigns will carry the big belt around more, but (as has been said on this thread ad nauseam) all three will have solid careers.

Reigns, Rollins, and Ambrose will be big in their own respects and comparing them is like comparing apples and oranges. Reigns is a cross between power and skill. Rollins is high flying technical. Ambrose is crazy, mix of a lot of shit. To say who will be the biggest isn't possible right now. As of now, as far as who they seem to be favoring, it'll be Reigns....but, as we all know, that can all change in WWE.

IMO, all three stars have different traits. Reigns, Rollins, and Ambrose all bring something different to the table. Whether it be Dean's loose cannon attitude, Rollins athleticism, or Reigns power, they all contribute greatly to the WWE universe. I do not think one of them will find it hard to branch out as soon as the Shield ends. I personally have loved the Shield since day one. I would rather them not dissolve but we all know its only a matter of time. ::facepalm:
