The first time I saw Seth work was back in 2008 for Ring Of Honor when he challenged Nigel for the title. He's been wrestling pretty much the same style this whole time with some minor changes. That's a hell of a style to wrestle for that long without a career-ending injury. He's had some close calls along the way. I think after this one, it's time to slow it down and change the style a bit before anything too serious happens.
The guy has all the talent in the world. Stevie Richards recently said about Kenny Omega, when he's slower than everyone else he'll still be better than everyone else. The same can be said here. And besides that, in my opinion, time away for Seth could be a good thing. I'm ready to see a character change. He's basically a modern day Randy Savage in gimmick, and I don't think that's really a good thing. The outfits, the laughing, the unseriousness, the song, I hope all of it changes. I could be in the minority, but I preferred a straight-ahead, competitive, "best bout machine" type of Seth Rollins from 2018-2019.
