Would you rather they keep shitting on it? You always seem to try to defend WWE and it’s finally getting some strong praise why not embrace it?

Also, I don’t know why you don’t understand that sometimes a character change can vastly affect your opinion of their work. Sometimes creative for a babyface can be absolutely atrocious and when they turn them heel it’s not.

I would say it’s both him and creative. Heyman has really turned his creative direction around the last few months and the heel turn of Rollins is a part of it. Rollins deserves equal credit for this because he’s such a natural at portraying the character. If he sucked at making the character work it wouldn’t matter if the creative was good. Same can not be said in the other direction. Bad creative is hard to salvage no matter how good you are at trying to work it.

The Rock is the perfect example of a babyface that bombed so they turned him heel and got hugely over and then they turned baby again but learned from the mistakes of the first run and let hm be a babyface with an edge that fans actually wanted to cheer for.

He also didn't have people going out of their way to act like a babyface isn't a real baby face because they bent a rule or insulted someone on TV. Roman was also the victim of being pushed during the rise of Daniel Bryan and the IWC couldn't deal with it.

There are alot of self-entitled fans who don't know dick about pro wrestling. There is also mostly awful creative in WWE for the past several years. They aren't mutually exclusive. Both things can be true, and are true in this case, IMO.

Also, social media is the worst. It gives those self-entitled fans who know nothing a voice. But at the same time, if it didn't exist, we still might have Seth as the WWE's generic babyface. It is what it is. But I don't know how anyone can't see that this new character is much more natural for him and he seems alot more comfortable in it. Just my opinion.
