Certainly not convinced Phenom is town based on his claim but I'm with Odo in that my biggest scumread so far is Jeff.
Feels like he's trying too hard to lead town and I've also noticed him "hedging his bets" a fair few times - in the sense that he'll say something and follow it up with an "I may be wrong about this" type ending to his posts.
This is often a scumtell by my experience with scum players subconsciously nervous to over-invest in a "fake" read.
Tbph I'm not a big fan of Sky's claim post as his implication that Lethal may be spiting him by giving him a dodgy role/flavour combo doesn't feel good.
I'm still very open to Sky + OMB being joint-maf based on OMB's interactions with the Sky wagon.
Think this was a good post in hindsight and feels town. I agree I'm not totally sold on Sky being town. OMB though I think is almost certainly town.
Okay I'm from work. Gonna read up then give my thoughts
He ended up voting Jeff while citing most of my reasons. Null on Slick Mitch.
It's notable that Chimp's town game is to be obnoxious and his scum game is to disappear entirely. He's mostly fitting the second profile though
Chimp would be a good cop target. It's going to be annoying to push him in the thread.
I’ll do something useful tomorrow, but if you guys wanna trust me on jeff, I’d appreciate it
Odo was really all in on jeff but didn't give super compelling raisins so I'm not sure what to think. Did he seriously think he would get Jeff lynched? That's the question on my mind. He controlled the last game but from what I read he was happy to let town destroy itself while not totally committing himself, particularly towards the end.
I'm leaning town on him for now but not without reservations. I'm hoping he's town!
Also somehow Jeff claiming x-sh
it Commuter cracks me up hard rn
But you wouldn't wanna lynch him, is that right?
Also I'd like an actual case on Jeff as well instead of continuous nudging. Ace is the one who has made his points pretty clear but I honestly don't see the scum in Jeff currently.
Well my issue is you should probably realize that offering himself up for a lynch like that isn't something he's likely to do as scum, because he'd have a team that wants to make use of the other roles he'd most certainly possess. I'm not buying your reasons for keeping him in your sights at all and that whole slip thing you keep riding is completely dismissable since to my knowledge this is the first game Lethal has ever hosted and thus setup spec should be avoided at all costs.
I had Tweet as a town lean earlier but his play around Jeff has me a bit uneasy. Very much dancing around him and his reasons for thinking he was town seem based around him not having a team, which of course mafia know already that he doesn't have one. Also, he didn't comment on my decisive case against Jeff and only came in after it was all over. But, he was sleeping so that may not be as suspicious as it looks. I think I'm back to null on Tweet all things considered.
Unvote
Vote Jeff
Out of the 5 (?) who have claimed, his is the only one that I don’t feel comfortable with.
The timing of this vote came after Jeff's claim while people were still mulling it over. Feels like a town vote to me as it doesn't seem like he was worrying about what everyone else was thinking/saying before making his decision.
I read some of Jeff's latest posts. Am I the only one who think they're genuine? :redface
I can forgive Alco here because I also found Jeff's anger genuine and was almost tempted to unvote and look elsewhere before I dug more deeply into jeff's posts and made my case.
For me the main Good Guys (potential scum actors being very hesitant to vote town no matter how bad they look because they don't want to look bad from the fallout) on the wagon were Doddsy and Tweet. I'm more suspicious of Doddsy as I can see Tweet's thought process and do believe that he was asleep during the decisive moments. Doddsy meanwhile really went to bat for Jeff and may have been looking to supplant Odo's credibility going into d2. What bothers me is that he really didn't acknowledge my case on Jeff at all. Just kept arguing with Odo who was far less substantive with his suspicions and thus easier to argue with.
