- It was announced on iMPACT! Thursday night that the future of the TNA TV title will be addressed during next week's "Championship Thursday". Devon, the current champion who left while still champion, was not mentioned.

Surprised they didn't just retire it quietly.

I'd love to see a Bound For Glory Battle Royal for the belt with Joey Ryan winning it as a surprise entrant therefore, sealing a spot on the roster.

I think what TNA should do is create a tournament in order to retire the TV title. It's a bit silly just pretending that the title does not exist since Devon left, it discredits Devon and the title. They could also run an angle where they create a tournament and the person that wins it at the end decides to change it into the hardcore title. TNA need to have something like that because at the moment they have nothing unique from WWE. As I said previously in this thread, they would get lots of teens switching channels and watching more of TNA instead of this Team Friendship thing.

Be interesting to see how they deal with it next week. It needs a massive boost to make it into a credible title. Definitely want to see a tournament run to crown the next champion now that Devon is gone.

I still hope the don't keep the title, they can't manage the ones they have now. X Division has had hardly any airtime since Zema won the belt, and that's without any TV title airtime due to Devon leaving.

I used to really like the idea of an lower weight class title simply because it adds a bit of believability to those
smaller wrestlers. I mean, who would believe a guy like one of the Generation Me guys beating someone like Abyss?
You wouldn't! That's why this title is necessary. Sure, Ion isn't a great (in fact, he's a lousy) champion, but I'm
sure he's just a transitional one.

As for the T.V. title, I didn't even notice it was gone. When did that happen?
