Nice, what i'm hopeing for is a new breifcase too, it better not be red colored, it needs to look cool.
They'll use the one Sandow had after Cody destroyed the other one most likely... a cooler MITB briefcase that's basically what Sandow will be known for.

Rollins/Ambrose/Y2J/Ziggler/Sandow/Rusev are my picks for who will be in the MITB or swap Sandow/Rusev for Stardust/Goldust and have some shit go down where Stardust knocks Goldy off the ladder and he grabs it and they feud.

Great news! I'm so looking forward to this!

My guess for the other participants would be: Rollins (as announced), Ambrose, Barrett, RVD/Dallas, Cody/Rusev (boooring!), Ziggler and Y2J, hopefully!

Here's to hoping that Ambrose wins it and cashes it in on Reigns next year! I'll be fine with anyone but Rusev, RVD or any other 'yawn fest' superstars winning it.

So all the losers from the qualifying matches will be in this ladder match instead? :awyeah: Just thought that was kind of funny. I'm saying Rollins will win it. I just get this feeling he is going to rise to the top soon.

Cena winning the championship and then being cashed in on by Rollins at the end of the night (or the next night on Raw?) I seriously doubt it and it wouldn't be wise to hotshot the title on him this quickly, but it's still an interesting prospect. Regardless of what transpires, I wouldn't be shocked to see the new WWEWHC champion cashed in on by someone come the end of the night, but looking at who all could be in the match other than Rollins, I can't imagine whom that would be.

I hadn't even considering a cash in during the PPV! Jeez, that could make things really hectic at the PPV

So which match would you guys personally prefer to be in (imagine you were a WWE superstar)? I'd think the MITB match for the briefcase would be better. I mean, sure you can WIN the title in the other match, but with the briefcase you can cash it in at ANY TIME for a shot at the title. Briefcase wins IMO

But both are ladder matches anyway lol. Both matches have to be won by climbing a ladder and pulling something down from the hook before the other participants can. Might as well be the title(s) rather than winning the briefcase and having to go through the extra trouble of cashing it in successfully as well (which can always fail, especially if you try to cash in on Super Cena.)

Btw, new prediction (or at least a passing idea, one that almost certainly won't happen but came to mind anyway): Rollins wins the briefcase and attempts to cash in on Cena at the end of the night, but then Reigns (who will already be at ringside since he's part of the main event) spears him and causes him to fail his cash-in. I know it would kind of make even holding a match for the briefcase a total waste, but it would make things more personal between Reigns and Rollins/The Authority. Besides, most people were already co-signed to the idea that a match for the briefcase wasn't going to happen this year anyway.

While we're throwing out ideas that probably won't happen, how about this one:

Rollins wins the briefcase and Orton wins the title. The Authority/Evolution controls both the title and the briefcase.

After Orton successfully defends the title at Summerslam against Daniel Bryan (due to shenanigans involving HHH and Rollins), Orton, HHH, and Rollins are celebrating. HHH pedigrees Orton out of the blue, Rollins cashes in and becomes WWEWHC as HHH's hand-picked "corporate champion".

Just spitballing really, but this occurred to me.

Not that I see that happening either, but it would be a hell of a way of bringing things full circle from last year's Summerslam. I don't think I can take another Bryan versus Orton match, though. They need to keep those two separate from each other for a long time, and Summerslam should have a fresh(er) main event for this year.

I do wish they'd find some way to revert Orton back into being a babyface, though. I'm eager to see him in rivalries with Bray Wyatt and Brock Lesnar, and neither of those can happen with him as a heel (and the prospect of turning either one of them face isn't likely enough to even consider.) Maybe have Reigns "injure" him in the MITB ladder match and then have him take time off and come back as a babyface somewhere down the road.

I don't know. He got so stale as a babyface before that most people (me included) really wanted that heel turn. I wouldn't argue with an "injury" that lead to him coming back in four to six months as a babyface.

For what it's worth, I think you could have an Orton/Lesnar feud with Orton being a heel because Lesnar is such a loose cannon type of character. He's basically a mercenary and I think a well-build Orton/Lesnar feud could make Orton a "temporary face" and allow the feud to work, but he could return to being a heel afterwards (it's not like his character changed much when he turned heel; basically, he's the same Orton, just with a different focus. I actually think the same thing about a feud between him and Wyatt. In fact, I could see a WWEWHC Bray Wyatt being something of a destructive force in WWE and HHH working alongside the faces and sending Orton to take Wyatt down as a way of "saving the company from Bray Wyatt". Technically, this would be a face turn for the Authority, but it's one that would be more along the lines of Magneto working with Professor X to fight against a common enemy.

I was calling for an Orton heel turn as well, but clearly not everyone was. He was still getting tremendous crowd reactions before he turned and that's one of the reasons I'd prefer Orton to go back to being a fan favorite. If he were to go up against Bray Wyatt and the Family or Brock Lesnar, I want him back as the lone, give-no-fucks bad ass that he was from 2010-2013 rather than go from the cowardly heel (that he's been booked as since turning heel again last year) to a temporary babyface and then back again.

I really wanna know who's going to be in the briefcase match, Rollins already confirmed but Ambrose has to be a given.. my other picks are Rusev, Ziggler, Big E and Y2J..

although I hope Sandow makes a repeat appearance I don't think that will happen so I just hope he gets the kickoff match with Slater vs Los Matadores fuck it.
