World Prediction Championship 2022 Event #17 Results - Part One

Event #17 sees the 'King Of The Ring Tournament' & 'The Clout Cup' continue with the Semi Finals taking place - with predictors finding themselves on the precipice of either earning themselves an anytime shot at the Grand Championship or !nteractive Championship dependent on which of the two brackets they are part of. The brackets for both tournaments are shown below:

Jeff 16 - 12 TFW | RDK 18/17 Swerve - 16 Chris

It now confirmed that the King of the Ring Final 2022 will see Jeff take on RDK for the right to earn the crown - and with it earn an anytime shot for the Grand Championship

Looch 17 - 13 HoHo | Doink 15 - 16 Juice

Looch and Juice both advance to face each other with the hopes of winning the Clout Cup - and with it earn an anytime shot for the !nteractive Championship.​

For this event the WPC Tag Team Wrestling Championships will feature one of the newest teams in the division Swerve In Flames (Jeff & Swerve) taking on reigning champions Sweet & Sour. If the champion retains - the combination of Fourth & Juice remains a team - but a loss will see them disband and Jeff join Juice as a predictor to have held the belt with two different partners. This match is going to be spicy!

Swerve In Flames begin their journey in flames of glory - with Swerve and Jeff becoming 6th champions in the belt's history, with the new champions taking on the two time champions Dream Warriors in their first defence of the belts.

As previously promised - with Sweet & Sour losing the belt, the combination of The Fourth Wall & Juice (at least for the time being) is over.

HOWEVER - we have two tag team additions to add to the WPC. With the return of Necro to the league - Juice & Necro reforge past bonds with the "Shinjuku Murder Klub" being reborn from the ashes. Whilst The Fourth Wall & Looch will also team up - with the pairing being known from this point onwards as "Best Friends 4EVA".​

GC DIVISION UPDATE

With Jobber Doink having dropped out of both of the King of the Ring Tournament & Clout Cup - the Grand Champion will be required to defend the big belt at Event #18. With Chris having dropped out of the GC Division - HoHo is no longer restricted in having to wait for Chris, and being the highest ranked eligible predictor they will challenge for the belt at the next event.

Jeff still being involved in tournament play - will not have to defend the !nteractive Championship until Event #19. RDK became the Grand Prix Event Champion for the first time - and the green belt will be up for everyone [accept Doink & HoHo] at Event #18.

The Fourth Wall remains Hardcore Championship after having dropped out of the GC Rankings - and will make a mandatory title defence during Event #18.
