World Prediction Championship 2022 Event #12 Results - Part One

The WPC is hitting the ground hard, as we have now had a dozen event in total in Season Three - with this weekend's show featuring match from the WWE & Impact Wrestling. All of the titles are on the lines and the Tag Division is now very much in full swing.

Our first focus is the Grand Champion - in which reigning champion HoHo will make their third defence against challenger and former champion Jobber Doink.

The Event Championship as always is up for grabs, with everyone apart from those involved in the Grand Championship match eligible. Can reigning champ Jeff retain the green belt?

WPC Grand Prix Event Championship
Jeff (c) vs. Everyone Else

For the first time this season - one of our new rules has come into effect:

- if more than two people are tied in 1st place - the belt is vacated all predictors tied in 1st place will be the only predictors eligible to compete for the belt at the next event

As it stands - five predictor ending up tying in first position with a score of 9-3. This means that at Event #13, the followings predictor will be involved in the contest for the GPE Championship in a first time matchup in the WPC.

Blaze, Jeff, Jimmy King, RDK & Lethal Banks

Lethal defends the Hardcore Championship officially for the first time against Juice - with it being confirmed that this match will not result in a No Contest. Time to get violent!

!NTERACTIVE DIVISION

The !nteractive Division continues with three set of matches taking place this weekend. Matches continues be decided by Head-2-Head Matchplay, which will continue to determine rankings and future challengers for the strap - with points earn as shown below:

A win = 3 points
A draw = 1 point
A loss = points
A Championship Loss = -5 points
The Champion earns no point whilst in possession of the title

If Chris defends the !nteractive Championship he will have earned a record breaking seven successful defences of the red belt. Can be achieve this goal or will Jeff rock the boat and prevent the record from being broken?

I thought I'd changed both which would have made us tie but I remember now thinking about which match from either card I was least sure of and deciding on that one. Was between it and the main event tho

The Lethal Drivers retain their titles and continue to show themselves as the toughest S.O.B.s in the Tag Division by claiming their 6th defence as the champion.

The champions it seems will have two teams vying for their titles and will face both the Dream Warriors and Sweet & Sour at the next event.

The Hall of Fame pick up a narrow win - and they will face a brand new team at the next event 'Breakfast Biscuits' (Blaine & Swerve).

Overall Standings

Jobber Doink wins the Grand Championship and will begin his second reign by taking on 5th ranked Swerve in the scheduled match for Event #13.

Jeff will also face Doink at the next event after he became the new
!nteractive Champion.

Jeff remains the
Grand Prix Event Champion [although this doesn't count as a title defence] and will do battle next event against Blaze, Jimmy King, RDK & Lethal Banks on the next show.

Lethal Banks successfully defended the Hardcore Championship and will face Looch on the next card.

The Lethal Drivers (Jeff & Lethal Banks) retained the WPC Tag Team Wrestling Championships and are very much becoming a dynasty within the WPC. The champions will be on double duty at the next event, first taking on the lower ranked Dream Warriors (HoHo & LadyHotRod). The winners of that contest will then face the highest ranked Sweet & Sour (Fourth & Juice) in what will be the second match for the titles.

GC Division ranks following Event #13 - will begin to be determined by rankings from 2nd quarter events, rather than the Overall Leaderboard, with GC ranking displayed separately during result updates. The Juice Prediction Authority made this decision - so that rating for the big belt will be based on recent form.

The Overall Standings will still be used to determining the ranking for KOTR as well those that qualify for the Playoffs at the end of the season.
