I know im late to the whole war discussion but i thought id throw my 2 cents in before its too late lol.
The way i see it is this, WWE turned this into a war, AEW was and is midning their own buisness, focusing on themselves doing their thing, and WWE doesnt like how big they are getting and wants to stomp them out as fast as humanly possible, so they sent their biggist guns (Which lets face it, as far as quality si concerned NXT is the best they got thanks to Tripl H) to go head to head against AEW to either A: kill them outright or B Syphon viewers to slow them down and keep them down to the best fo their ability.
WWE made it a war, its a war for them, for us though its entertainment (Also speaking of the NXT AEW war the thread i made will be updated the moment the rateings are in today!)
