"Sean "Puff Daddy" Combs has a history with the WWE. From performing for soldiers at Tribute to the Troops in 2010, to hitting the stage at Wrestlemania 29, and partnering with the biggest name in sports entertainment to help encourage kids to stand up to bullying. The guy is no stranger to the WWE Universe. And Next Monday, August 8th, live on Monday Night Raw from the Honda Center in Anaheim, Rolling Stone has learned that Combs will make his first appearance on a WWE program since we last saw him at "The Grand Daddy of Them All" back in 2013.

After a rumored raid of New Japan's top talent, the wrestling landscape could be shifting – and not a moment too soon
But what will the Bad Boy founder and (in my humble opinion) funniest star of Get Him to Greek actually be doing on the WWE's flagship show? Judging by what happened last week, your guess is probably as good as mine. What we can wager on is that he's probably not going to debut Sean John's new line inspired by Finn Bálor's demon persona, and since new WWE Women's Champion Sasha Banks already has a famous rapper/WWE Hall of Famer in her family, Combs probably won't be dropping a new entrance song for her. So what, exactly, will happen on next week's Monday Night Raw? Only one way to find out."

I want to give them the benefit of the doubt on this, but it's pretty difficult. Guest stars in wrestling tends to have more misses than hits. I'm also bummed that they're doing a ratings ploy so soon into the "new era."
