He really has to at this point. If for anything to make up for a similar situation with even more blatant implications in the XIX World Title match that saw Booker T fail to break the ah "glass ceiling."

Same feeling. I was wholly expecting Bryan vs. AJ at Mania but this story has turned out to be absolutely fantastic.

Because you not thinking it's realistic to go the gauntlet to get his title shot doesn't matter much since he didn't actually go all the way with it. If he just won the gauntlet and that was it we can discuss how silly it was, but at this point it's irrelevant since he's not getting the title shot that way. He failed. No point in dwelling on something that had no real effect on anything.

The final guy he couldn't overcome because he was too exhausted and beaten down to mount any serious offense, and because he wasn't prepared to face an extra person.

That was the gist of the story of the gauntlet match. He came so close but had the rug pulled out from underneath him yet again.

The story next week should be that his loss won't be in vain, because of the support other wrestlers (and fans) gave him and how disgusted they are in Vince McMahon.

To me it makes joe and Orton look like schmucks. A 13 time world champ can't beat someone who just wrestled four matches and got the hell beaten out of him? Spare me.

Story is that their huberus got the best of them. They were playing with him and it cost them. I think in the Joe match, commentary said several times “Joe could end this whenever he wants”

That’s why the finish of those matches were what they were. They look like schmucks if Kofi makes this major comeback and beats them with his finish

Exactly.....This what happens when you have people who don't know stories are being told in the ring. And think it's angles and finishes that are the story.
