Independent Wrestling
Second City Wrestling Revolution
Another promotion is on the rise in the independent wrestling circuit, known as the Second City Wrestling Revolution, a collaboration between the original founder of Ring of Honor, Rob Feinstein, and the former owner of Major League Wrestling, Court Bauer. Their inaugural event, Rise of the Renegades took place last Friday in the Lincoln Park Auditorium of Chicago, Illinois, with an attendance level of 538 fans, not a bad turn out for a debut show.

Reports are indicating that Second City Wrestling Revolution has come to an open contract with several wrestlers in the past week, two of which include the Backseat Boys, the tag team of Johnny Kashmere and the International Superstar, Trent Acid. Nothing has been confirmed as of yet, but there have been discussions about the latest worker being a former World Championship Wrestling superstar. Many suspect the signee to be Diamond Dallas Page, who stated in his online blog that he was looking to get into the independent wrestling circuit.

Welcome to the official homepage of Second City Wrestling Revolution, thank you for stopping by. Be sure to check out the preview for our second event, SCWR Insurrection!

SCWR News
The Boys Are Here
Second City Wrestling Revolution and the Backseat Boys, Trent Acid and Johnny Kashmere, have come to an agreement for an open contract. Acid and Kashmere are two competitors who have shared many moments of success, with tag team championship reigns in Combat Zone Wrestling, Ring of Honor, East Coast Wrestling Association and Jersey All Pro Wrestling. Expect their presence to be felt when they debut at the third SCWR show in the week still to come.

Preview
SCWR Insurrection
This Sunday is bound to be a huge night for Second City Wrestling Revolution, as we invade the Lincoln Park Auditorium of Chicago city for our second ever event, Insurrection! Witness the fallout from Rise of the Renegades, where bad blood lurks and heat stirs between the stars of the SCWR roster. The final Opening Rounds of the Super Twelve Tournament will take place this week, continuing the hunt for the first ever SCWR Heavyweight Champion.

Before going into the semi finals of the Super Twelve Tournament against CM Punk in the next event, Scrap Iron, Adam Pearce will be having a match this week versus none other than The Shooter, Brent Albright, of whom he verbally attacked last week at Rise of the Renegades before blatantly assaulting Doug Williams to a bloody pulp. Albright will be able to have his shot at revenge, but will The Shooter have enough to take down the Scrap Daddy? And how will the presence of CM Punk affect this encounter when things begin to turn in the direction of Adam Pearce?

Two debuts are set to happen at Insurrection this Sunday, one of them being the team of Rocky Romero and Ricky Reyes, the Havana Pitbulls, who will face the SCWR Global Tag Team Champions, Danny Doring and Roadkill in a non title match up. Doring and Roadkill were able to prove that they were Global Tag Team title material last week at Rise of the Renegades, going through three other teams in a Four Corner Tag Team Survival match. Now they will be faced with yet another challenge, as they battle the highly competitive team of Reyes and Romero, who will be giving nothing short of their best in the bout.

The Chicago crowd will be met with an unexpected surprise this week, as in the main event the New Wave, Sterling James Keenan will get into the ring with a debuting mystery opponent in the Opening Round of the Super Twelve Tournament. Keenan was able to wrestle past the Dark City Bandit, Kory Chavis last week, defeating him in a match for the Tournament spot, and will now go into what could be a career defining encounter. Who will the mystery opponent reveal himself to be come Sunday, and will they be enough to overcome the fight against the New Wave? Find out this Sunday, December 11, at the Lincoln Park Auditorium! Tickets are still available online or can be purchased at the concession stands.

We would like to thank Static X for providing us with 'The Only', the official theme song for Insurrection.
The second show should be up by next week.
