Scream - The TV Series

I'm a huge fan of the Scream movie franchise (especially the original film... it's intro is easily one of the greatest in horror movie history), so naturally when I hear they're making anything new that's Scream-related, I'm gonna be at least a little intrigued. Well it turns out they are, only instead of a fourth sequel, it's a whole new television series that's completely unrelated to the original story and cast of characters, even right down to having a completely original-looking Ghostface mask. And somehow, I've only managed to learn about it literally just days before it's television premiere (which is this coming Tuesday night on MTV, for the record)...

Speaking of which, here's the first eight minutes of the new series for those who care about Scream as much as I do and have eight minutes of your life to spare:

Looks okay, don't like that mask so much though.

This looks horrible, not even counting the really bad, fake, twitter rip off "chipster".

I have very little interest in seeing it just because the commercials seemed incredibly cheesy. I may check it out once before casting any judgement, but it's not something that I am wanting to see.
