If I had to guess, Barry is scum and realised his (or his president scum partner) kills were carried out by us. No us, no kills.
He faked info on us to make sure we could stay alive in order to carry out his kills.
If he flips town then it will give us a little more freedom with the kills but I'm not comfortable carrying them out while Barry is alive.
