-- Says Anthony Cicione is a pro wrestling fan, He knows him from TSN. Did stuff with WWE for 10 years with The Score. He's a TV producer which Anthem have been pushing heavily for.

-- Creative team isn't going anywhere, it'll be headed by Gail Kim and RD Evans and himself for now. Doesn't know if that'll change.

-- Whatever feelings regarding Scott's firing I have I need to put aside because again cool things are coming and it's Anthems name on the paycheck. And again we have young talent who count on us vets.

Anyone who believes that Cicione would 100% play ball with Gail and Evans going forward is a fool. The way Anthem's been handling this so far shows what kind of path they're set on going down.

I'm sure they won't be as stupid to completely break everything over night, but right now I'm also convinced we're going to see a very bad fallout from this decision playing itself out over the second and third quarter of 2024. Wouldn't surprise me at all if all this hype and momentum TNA got over the last 4 months is completely demolished again by summer.

I support not harassing any of the TNA talents or creative, but I think, supporting the actual company moving forward will have to be a personal decision. Each fan has to make. I haven’t decided what I’m going to do with TNA yet.

Scott D'Amore wanted a bigger budget for TNA. D'Amore was butting heads with Anthem over TNA's budget. He also wanted to sign Braun Strowman but Anthem balked because Strowman's financial demands were too high.

Seem to remember the sheets saying that Braun was asking for crazy fees (or something along those lines) for Independent bookings, so I can only imagine he was asking for big numbers from TNA. Probably didn't help them that he signed that big deal with WWE before getting released aswell.

Something like $250,000 per appearance. For the indies that’s crazy. Main reason why nobody really kicked the tires on him.

I will agree that if somehow they managed to recapture that 2017 magic, Braun would’ve been a huge signing. He was so over, people were saying he should’ve beaten Brock for the belt at one point
