Wonder if he was just visiting or if there anything that could become of this.

Let him book ROH and ease some of the pressure on Tony imo. I do think people overhype Scott as a booker but I think giving Tony less shit to manage will help

Yeah I love to see what he could do with ROH. Definitely would help Tony out to not have to deal with booking so many damn shows lol.

That would make great sense. Plus he could take some pressure from TK , let him book at dynamite see how it goes numbers wise.

You know I’d be down for Scott booking some Ring of Honor but I don’t want him to book Ring of Honor in its current condition. Ring of Honor really needs its own brand completely separate from AEW, including an exclusive roster that almost exclusively works Ring of Honor. You can have occasional intermingling, but it should be limited.

It's hilarious that now that tna cozyed up to wwe, the narrative on reddit is he was always a terrible booker and the reason tna was held back.

Seems like he was there for a reason either way, I don't think he was just randomly chilling in ohio

Now call me a smelly speculationist, but chances are he was backstage because Tony and him had come together on some sort of partnership for MLP to have occasional talent from AEW.

:draper2 Seems the most reasonable expectation, no?

possibly, but I feel like a call would be just as efficient. But it's probably likelier than a full on job offer.

Well Scott's well beloved by the boys so he could have been invited by Tony to see everyone. It still would mean that there is *some* working relationship going on even if it doesn't mean a talent trade per se.

Sometimes a visit instead of a call makes a better, stronger bonding.

If they want to start a deep, good working agreement, then I'd rather have them meet up from time to time instead of conducting business through DMs.

This wouldn’t surprise me.

But it also wouldn’t surprise me if he were just seeing some friends.

Time will tell.
