Years 7-9 (12-14ish I think) I did, Maths, English, French, Geography, History, Religious Ed (fucking bullshit compulsory shite where they'd constantly impose shite on you), Cookery, Design Technology, IT and Physical Education.

They were all shite bar IT and maths.

Years 10&11 (14-16) I did, Maths, English, French (still compulsory bullshit), IT, Computer Graphics.

IT, Computer graphics and Maths were actually awesome, the rest shite.

A-Level IT is much better :obama:

I don't even put it on my CV.
A bit unnecessary don't you think ;)

I mainly meant that because I got it, and that the people who were also high in intelligence like me, who purposely failed because y'know...Their protest that they are above doing the GCSE, didn't get the RE GCSE, that I would be just above them in the pecking order for course priorities, which actually turned out to be the case.

But yeah, in terms of CV's, I would assume the more the merrier, and I can argue my GCSE means I know lots about multiple religions, and that I am very philosophically strong, which I argue strengthens work ethic.

Religious Education which I got banned from in Year 8 anyways. Reason being I asked why when God flooded the world to rid the world of sinners, what about fish that had sinned as they could survive the flood and how did Noah decide which two animals of each species were allowed to survive? As was there a test to show that those were the pure animals and not the bad stock or sinners.

I also questioned why incest in the bible was ok and frowned upon in modern society as everyone was pretty much having babies with sisters, cousins and mothers etc... If we all descended from Adam and Eve.

Got my ass booted out had to sit in the headmasters office during that subject for a year and a half until I was forced back into class for my GCSE!

My favorites always involved music. Middle school on I was in Band and that was always the highlight of my day. English was also a strong subject for me that I enjoyed throughout school. I enjoy reading different types of novels, and I also have an interest in poetry. My least favorites were science and math related. I never found those subjects to be interesting.

NEVER ASK QUESTIONS! Shame on you!

But seriously, asking questions and questioning things is a sign of understanding. I don't get punishing a person over it.

I was an A student in everything except math. I avoid numbers. I've even tried to learn some advanced math on my own time, but it's hard for me to learn anything that doesn't interest me. Science and history were my favorite subjects. Throw English in there too. :)

The teacher would have probably made the assumption he only asked such a question to take a dig at the religion, which the teacher probably found disrespectful. Many teachers can tend to be overly sensitive.

I found most subjects in school to be boring, actually. Math probably being the worst. However, after I left school, only then did I suddenly pick up an interest in science (mainly chemistry and biology), sociology/criminology and even history to an extent and educated myself on my own time. (lol @ 'religious education.')

Quick question, did you learn about all the different religions?
