I will say that the only difference is, Zach/Nash has come out since and admitted he was wrong, apologized, and has said he learned from it and everything.
But at the same time saying you've learned from something is different than proving it

Well the Zach(since his was a horrible photo he took years ago) thing is hard to prove. Unless you meant Santino would have to prove it over saying it. If so then yeah true

Also, aside from the transphobia thing, if he still holds that view, I just legitimately find him annoying and just pointless/useless.

Yeah, and I feel WWE were too quick to fire him tbh. But Santino has doubled down on this stance. Going to be interesting how it all pans out and if he has changed his viewpoints.

is he actually transphobic or does he oppose transatheletes competing with non transathletes, because those things are not the same thing. He could ignorant a.f and doubling down on his misguided opinion. doesn't mean he hates trans people.

and no I'm not defending whatever it is he said, I just like definitions to be correct. Regarding Gisele Shaw, her match still happened. On top of that, she is DATING THE BOOKER. Do you really think Scott D'Amore would bring in a transphobe while dating a trans woman. Come on guys.

I think it's the opposing the competition, which imo is a real grey area in terms of discussion.

You haven't seen any yet
And unless he says anything else it will stay that way I'd wager. You greatly under** estimate how much no one cares about impact or what a c lister wrestler said in an interview 5 (i think?) years ago. I understand those comments were hurtful and shitty, but I really don't think it's a massive declaration in bigotry that will be cancelled either. He's just a hired talent and multiple wrestlers across multiple other promotions hold terrible beliefs publicly and are not jobless.

doesn't really sound like bigotry to me, just lack of education and like you said, it's an ongoing conversation to have when it comes to competitive athletics. Very rarely does either side of that debate want to see or admit nuance either, so it's kind of a 'trap" subject, imo. People on the keep em seperate side dont understand that it alienates trans people even further. that doesnt mean they hate trans ppl tho.

Until there is more middle ground conversations on the trans athletes debates - these viewpoints are going to just exist on both sides. Anyone who approaches the middle - especially if they support Trans Rights will just burned by one side/and rejected by the other.

yeah pretty much spot on when it comes to this specific subject. fwiw I understand some of the points of both sides (the non hateful ones based in reality). on the other side I feel we make kids take sports way too fucking seriously so old motherfuckers make money so ultimately I'd just let kids fucking play sports and stop making winning at all costs the primary focus.

In professional wrestling there are no issues. It's when you get into competitive sports that issues can and do arise.

my answer is as above, stop making shit so competitive for kids. its just a game.

keep the winning at all cost mentality for when these kids actually are getting paid to play sports
