Anyone else think TNA is so stupid for coming up with this character?

The only reason they did it was to combat WWE's Sin Cara debut. It almost gets tired of thinking, "Why can't TNA just try to be independent and not try and follow the same model WWE has?"

WWE introduces Sin Cara, TNA introduces this guy

WWE backs away from wrestling, TNA has a knee-jerk reaction, and suddenly they've become Impact Wrestling.

Now, we have this character where Mike Tenay claims he was one of the top luchadors. I'm sorry, but you can for one tell that it's Red who's playing the character.

Does anyone like this idea?

It is another thing that makes TNA look bush league. I hate that they continue to make decisions based on what WWE are doing rather than forging their own path. It makes them look pathetic that after Sin Cara debuts for WWE, TNA react by repackaging a wrestler as a masked wrestler to counter-act WWE.

I thought that TNA dropped the ball with Red and Crimson. Crimson was meant to be Red's little brother but they didnt interact for very long and that storyline was dropped very quickly.

I personally didn't have a problem with Red getting more TV time, but you know, as Red. That's just the reason I went into a mini-rant here haha.
