Uh, I don't consider CCR country at all, particularly not that song. Maybe if it were Cotton Fields or Midnight Special, but sure as hell not Down on the Corner.

EDIT: Tbh, whoever submitted George Jones should win by default because at least it's the genre specified in the competition this week.

Just because it's not classic country doesn't mean it's not country. CCR is country rock

But it's still country. just because it's mixed with rock, it still has country style in it.
