Personally if they wanted to go with a muscle option, I think they should have gone with Big E or if they wanted to go outside of the company then Matt Morgan.

For the life of me I can't figure out why WWE hasn't done a deal with Morgan yet. That guy is money, not going to be the number one guy in the company but it shouldn't be hard for Vince and HHH to make him a big star. Has everything that they want yet for whatever reason nothing has happened yet. Would have been a great way to debut him aligned with Heyman.

Could be a age thing. I know he is not that but isn't he getting up towards his mid or late 30s? More recently WWE have pushed younger guys.

Pretty much this. I'm a big Morgan fan, but I think he's like 34.

I think this is why he hasn't been signed yet.

But back onto the topic; I think Ryback has done well in this situation so far. He's finally got some direction and it's obvious that he's becoming the more impoartnat Heyman guy over Axel

So he's 37.....that a bad thing? Having life experience and knowing what the job is going to be is not a knock against a guy. He has experience, something most of the young talent don't have. I never understood the fetish of 20 year olds who should be maineventers....It's a baffling concept imo.

You could look down the list of the great performers over the years and there are like 3 guys who were under 30 who were given the ball and did something with it.

I don't have a problem with his age, but that's not saying WWE doesn't. They just made a point that it could be the reason why he hasn't been signed.

Yeah I don't see his age being an issue at all. It's not as if he's someone who's just starting out, the guy knows the business inside out and could quite easily just slot onto the main roster tomorrow. I'd imagine he'd still have plenty of gas left in the tank, especially when you look at someone like Kane who is 10 years older than him and has a million more miles on the clock but is still going on fine.

I am not a big Morgan fan but no I don't see that his age should be a problem and think he would fit this role well, but it is just what Ryback neede to kick start his career so am glad they went with him.

I've always said Morgan should be big but he's never been given a chance. I assumed he had some horrible backstage antics as his ring and mic skills better than most big guys
