They chant it because they feel it'll get under his skin (which is appropriate considering he's a heel now) and he just proves it does when he chants Goldberg right back at 'em. Dumb move on his part.

This sign is hilarious. Now you can expect to see more of those as well. I guess the shitty booking is probably helping him crack under the pressure unless he's genuinely just trying to act as a classic heel by interacting and being confrontational with the fans and all.
