If he was to put someone over he should've jobbed at BFG. I'll keep optimistic and hope he's there to either get some spotlight on the X-Division, put a young guy over or both.

Let's base this in reality.

RVD is and was a wrestling god. ECW 2005 anyone?

So if RVD isn't there for the cash cow and there for his love of wrestling which we know he has he is putting someone over.

However it's a dark dark day if it's money.

RVD RVD RVD someone is going over and they will be huge it's RVD Mr Monday Night!

RVD hasn't been interesting in 7 years sadly (at least in my opinion)

Agree and disagree with this u can say this about many an old star they bring back etc...

Hulk Hogan, Foley, Hacksaw we still mark.

RVD was awesome and slightly overdue but he is a big name to casual's so a draw so money so if someone goes over well u know.

What will revive the X-Division is having wrestlers in there that aren't paid per match, but are actually in the Division. You know, so it doesn't feel completely empty.

Oh well, at least it does still bring some sweet matches to the table.

And then who is he going to feud with after Van Dam? :pity:

(hopefully this is a revival though, just seems very unlikely with the state of the divisions roster)

Kenny King, Sonjay Dutt, Doug Williams, OVW guys like Alex Silva, San Shaw, someone from AAA.., There's plenty of talent to feud with Sleazeman.

I mean I guess, but wouldn't it be better to have an actual roster, rather than a few guys that get paid to do a show or two then go away for months again?

Really sucks how poorly this division is maintained when it could be a huge draw.
