Not a good idea. It was only last year when HHH was booted off by the board for not being able to control RAW. Now he takes over RAW + SmackDown? He would need to wait a bit, then eventually be "restored", and then DURING his reign turn heel. He can't just return a heel.

Him turning heel = restoring the order. He has to play up the no more Mr. Nice Guy Card. Some guy comes down to bring up last year and he gets a brutal beating then HHH snarls and is like "ANYONE ELSE WANT TO QUESTION MY ABILITY TO CONTROL THINGS AROUND HERE SNARL SNARL" ect

Its so obvious it books itself

It could be Flair. His no compete clause ends on the 10th

Nobody wants to see that.

Agreed with D'Z. The whole GM Drama over the past few years has so many plotholes, why not add one more?

It's not even a plothole. Nice guy (face) HHH was a push over. Dick head tough guy HHH (heel) won't be.

Disagree, I think it's too soon atm especially with HHH still feuding with Bork. The best time to have the HHH dictatorship is when WWE is reading to create a new SCSA (or something similar).

Fuck Bork. His ass won't be back until Mania anyway so who cares

I'm not sure why WWE wouldn't be 'reading' to create 'a new SCSA' if they were able to do it.. as if they can just snap their fingers and BOOM we have a new SCSA

Wasn't the point I was making. And I think it's more complicated than "fuck bork".

As for dictator HHH, were you not watching during his GM run? His GM campaign was literally "Don't fuck with me or I have a match with you and bury you". CM Punk, Miz, heel R-Truth and more were victims, nothing would be different this time round, which is why I think it has to wait.

HHH has the power right now to be the future Vince McMahon, the chairmen who can be heel or face at any point in time. HHH can be the launch of a young guys career, there's no point wasting it now.

I'm against it being anyone who has been a GM before. That includes Ric Flair, even though it's be a perfect role for him to come back in (even though I don't think they technically referred to them as 'general managers' until July 2002 when Bischoff and Stephanie took over.) JBL sounds like a perfect choice, but I think he's still climbing mountains for charity or something.

Nothing would be different? Except the booking, HHH's character, he would be shitting on faces instead of heels, he would actually be in control this time instead of facing upheaval from the locker room...

yes, a lot would be different. I'm not sure what waiting accomplishes. Character wise he is at a crossroads. He thought he was the baddest motherfucker around and has been humbled by Taker two straight years and now Brock. It is time for him to turn into a raging dick head heel obsessed with power and control to compensate for his kayfabe declining abilities.

I think you are being too dismissive of the idea because it doesn't fit 100% into your plan which seems to be doing the exact same thing but just at a later time. I say there is no difference between doing it now and waiting, besides the fact that we desperately need a Gm right now. I don't see the point to bringing in someone as a stop gap GM between AJ/Booker and HHH when you can just get straight into HHH now.

I figure HHH has to play into the equation somehow, but I also think this is how they bring Laurinaitis back as an authority figure. You need heel authority figures if they're going to be in place for any length of time. Face authority figures only work for a limited time, then they start getting stale or start getting booed, as they can't cheat to help the faces.
